To make sure you are fully prepared for your upcoming treatment, please find below a list of commonly asked questions.

  • What is the difference between a Skin Spa treatment and a BeautyBAR treatment?

    Clarins Skin Spa is a little oasis of calm and relaxation designed to soothe and rejuvenate the skin. Most treatments range from 45 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes, with services available to relax and recharge the body and mind. The treatment rooms are private and away from the shop floor. Our BeautyBAR’s are for those more express treatments, we offer 8 treatments all 30 minutes and priced at £25 each. Please note, we have made our BeautyBAR spaces tranquil and relaxing environments to have your treatments in, however these treatments are not performed in private rooms and will be visible to other customers.

  • When should I arrive for my appointment?

    Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your appointment, this gives you time to unwind and get more out of the early stages of your treatment. It also allows us to review your current treatment needs.

  • What should I wear to my appointment?

    Whatever you are wearing that day is suitable. However, if you have booked The Sun Glow treatment then we advise to wear loose clothes afterwards.

  • What will I be wearing within my treatment?

    For most treatments, you’ll be asked to remove some items of clothing and for body treatments we will provide you with disposable underwear. Your comfort is our number one priority, you will always be cocooned in white towels preserving your modesty.

  • If I have a medical condition or an allergy can I still have a Clarins treatment?

    We advise all customers to mention any medical conditions or allergies when making an appointment so that we can guide you on the best treatment option to book. Please make sure to highlight any concerns within your medical consultation form that you complete upon arrival.

  • Can I have a Clarins treatment during pregnancy?

    If you are pregnant, Clarins recommends the Beautiful Mother-to-Be treatment which is suitable from 12 up to 38 weeks of pregnancy. A few other of our recommendations throughout pregnancy are; Signature Facials, Aromatic Facial, Face & Eye Refresher, Age Defying Eyes and Beauty Sleep.

  • Can I have a Clarins treatment post surgery?

    If the surgery is less than 6 months and is on an area that is to be treated we advise all customers to obtain doctors approval.

  • Can I bring my child with me to my appointment?

    Unfortunately, we are unable to permit this for health and safety reasons.

  • What is the cancellation and no-show policy?

    Please cancel or amend your treatment with at least 24 hours’ notice of your appointment. This can be done online, in store or over the phone. If you do not attend or cancel your booking in time you may be charged the full value of your treatment.

  • What do I do if I’m late for my appointment?

    If you know you will be running late for your appointment, please contact the Spa or BeautyBAR team to let them know. If the Therapist is still able to still carry out the treatment with adjustments or provide an express treatment, you will still be charged the full value of the treatment.

  • I’m using a gift voucher; how do I book a treatment?

    Please call or visit us in store to book a treatment using a gift voucher.

  • I’m booking a treatment from my pre-paid course, how do I book?

    For all course treatments please book these by calling or visiting us in store. We have a new online customer portal coming soon for you to be able to see all your prepaid courses and book online.

  • Do you have a Loyalty Scheme?

    We do! Please speak to any of our teams in store who will be able to tell you more about our loyalty scheme, Time For Me. With our loyalty scheme the more you spend the more complimentary minutes you receive to use on any of your favourite treatments.
